I'm new to the 1" bar world. Are there 1" grips out there that are all rubber, without chrome bits?

Mine are solid black... forgot where I got them...
Do a search on E-bay for "Vintage 1" motorcycle grips"...
... or "bobber grips>...
Should be $8 to $15 dollars for a good price...
PS... make sure that the throttle grip is larger ID than the clutchside... some aren't...

Alright thanks! I actually like the chrome but my chrome end fell off after installing heated sheets under the grips. And now its too cold to ride anyway so the bike's in storage mode. Might as well replace the grips.

Thanks.
After posting my question I remembered a big catalog had arrived last week from J&P Cycles. Hidden among the chrome and billet grips were a few all-rubber ones. I even found a set with open ends, which means I won't have to cut them to work with my bar-end signals.
Now I just need to figure out how to get the previous owner's chrome grip off the throttle sleeve without breaking anything.

I think I paid $5 for a used throttle sleeve at the local breaker.

It seems "local" and "breaker" are mutually exclusive terms around here. I've been looking for a motorcycle salvage yard within a couple hours driving distance for five years with no luck.
