I fill 93 octane til it reaches the bottom of the inside spout. It runs fine on the "on" position til there's about 25 miles left on the full tank. Once it start to stall, I fill up.the tank and rum it back on "normal"

Your "stalling" is just the point where you have used up the gas in the "on" position and then you to switch over to your "reserve" fuel. am I missing something?????
