Neutral wire question
01/10/11 at 11:58:42
Finished the top end rebuild on my project Savage. I got the engine mounted yesterday. In the process my neutral wire which was hanging on by a thread managed to severe itself right at the end of the rubber boot coming out of the crankcase. I might have maybe a 1/4 of an inch of the wire sticking out of the crankcase boot.
Any problem just soldering the wire back together? It appears to be a single polarity wire. Just curious, will the bike still run without this circuit completed?
Thanks,

Yep, just a single wire, switch goes to ground when in neutral.
