I'm hoping to get some help from those that seem to know this bike inside and out. I'm almost ready to start piecing my project savage back together after receiving my new piston and bored cylinder. I have tagged and bagged every piece during the tear down.  However, I have two thin (1/8") black rubber gaskets that apparently got loose and I cannot identify. They are identical and have approximately a 2.5" diameter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would post a pic but I haven't figured that out.  

Oil filter cover "O" ring? Only use one. Valve adjusting cover seals? would be 2 of these, but shaped like the groove in the cover when new. Maybe someone used round ones in a pinch? Starter seal again only 1 needed. max

thanks Guys, it sounds like it might be something possibly mickey moused by the PO. I was pretty careful to mark and bag everything. But I also created kind of a sterile separated area just for the parts so I'm a little confused. They resemble an o-ring from an oil filter but I know that's not the case. Oh well, thanks again.
