Picked up a couple of sheepskins at IKEA a while back, want to make them into seat  covers.  I'm thinking removable in case it rains ....has anyone out there done this??

sportster seat reupholstered in white. 13" intruder shocks (which are already on and may end up being an issue, but if not I'll have some 412's on the market place). New chain/sprockets. Id love to shave the cylinder/head down 1mm but i dont feel like taking everything apart so that'll probably wait until next year. Id love to do a good thorough working of the exhaust ports but again I dont feel like taking it all apart. Hopefully I'll at least have my SR500 header chopped up and welded to fit to allow a better flow but who the hell knows. Press straighten the bent up forward control plate from last summer.

In reality I probably wont get anything done to it this year. Its sitting out under a tarp in the snow so I'm not doing anything until it gets warmer and by that point I'd rather just ride the fuhqer.

I have sheep skin cover I strap onto the seat. It does a good job of keeping the chill away.

Hi Skid Mark - wondering if you have sewn straps to the sheepskin, or is it more like a flat bungee method.??

Always like looking at photos. Grin Grin
