MM, Mysterious fixed the picture post bar that is right under where you type in your posts.

Just browse over to your picture and click on it.

Example:   I put the gun pic on my desktop and browsed to it with the little bar right below where I am typing in this post.

It works, but for my main informational posts where you stick pic stuff inside the text so it pertains to what is written about it, that requires the old pic posting techniques and outside hosting.

Does the Bird DO anything or is he just an artistic conglomeration?  Looks like his "quills" could be for generating electricity when the wind blows 'em?

I wish you could have been there too. ,   We didn't get so wild this year ... well except for a few times .... .

BigZuk  , brought Jill his trusty guide along so no mater how we tried ,, we couldn't get lost.    She lead us on some adventuresom roads and most of them had 55mph speed limits , but , we still ran up behind a lot of folks running 40 on them.

We had two guitars and a banjo this year , You would have loved it.  We didn't get near enough time to play them.  But what little we did was fun.    Senerity knows how to play perty good.   You come next year and I'll bring a My travel Martin.

Here's where we had lunch one day.   Kinda like getting refreshed in more ways than one !

That would be a "GREAT'  scavenger hunt item !!!   Grin Grin Grin

If ....

If we were to do a short Sat (ride in) -Sun-Mon-Tuesday (ride home) exploration trip up to do the Boone area (say all the mountains between Boone on the north and Mt. Mitchell on the south) in the two weeks AFTER Labor Day (cooler but still warm in the days weather) ....

If the format was Hotwire.com cheapie rooms with say 2-3 people in the room ....

We have never been in this area, so we don't know if the roads are worthy of a main Dragon style trip.

Who would be up for such a thing?

I'm thinking week or two PAST Labor day, just to get rid of the Labor day crowds and yet still be way too early for leaf season -- still fully warm during the days but not killing hot like it has been.

Just find out if she is good for it as a general sort of idea, I still have to swap the tires on both ends of my bike and do me a valve adjustment (this gives me enough piddle time to do all that with no strain).

Start thinking about where you want to go that is in the area -- you got Grandfather mountain, Mt. Mitchell, every ski resort  (all 5-6 of them) in the world, Boone NC (got to eat at the Daniel Boone Inn if we go there).

You know, places to go, things to do.   Check out the roads for when them Dragon boys get all bored doing the same things time after time.

I am seriously interested but will have to hold until I know how this fits into other requirements.  I'm penciled in for minor surgery to fix a hernia but don't have a hard date yet.

Talk to us about your schedule, these dates were plucked out of the air just to get away from the killing heat.

Anybody notice how hard it is when you come back from the Dragon to ride at a normal city speed limit pace?

Neighborhood street turns that you do every day want to become "corner cut sweepers" and you start sizing up cars for passing just as soon as you come up on them?

How your bike wants to be cut loose to RUN, now that it knows what running really is?   How it wants to goes into Dragon mode when nobody else is around and the road suddenly gets curvy?

Jest how long does it take for you to return to normal --- and is that normal state exactly like it used to be (or is it slightly different now)?

Cheesy
