extra tubing off carb.

there are 2 black tubes/hoses running off my carborater... they are not connected to anythingg... should they be? if so what and where. i noticed my gas goes rly fast... could that be a reason? i can smell gas off one of the tubes... i doesnt run out but slowly occasionally drips.

Those are vent tubes, should be run upward and tucked into a open part of the frame.
