I was, in fact, looking this past fall at some used Vetter fairings. I would have to make my own mounting hardware and trial-and-error getting it on right. Something to think about for the next big chore. After getting the fork seals done.
The whole minus degrees temps up here and two feet of compacted snow in the yard have slowed down my doing things blood flow. Turned my garage into a music studio and it's too cold to even get it warm enough to play around in. And since it's piled head high with "stuff" there's no room to even get the bike in.
And then there's the VW diesel pick-up engine I need to disassemble to find what's ailing it.
Add to that the birthday yesterday was the one to qualifies me for the national parks Golden Age Pass. At least where I went for lunch gives free cheese cake on your birthday. The waitress wouldn't sing to me though. Told me if I wanted singing, go to Chucky Cheese.
But I'm not bitter.
Jack
