Maybe a stop by an automotive machine shop will get you what you need for just a few bucks.

My uncle worked on boat motors for years. He had two or three "special" wrenches and tools he made over the years. Some were as simple as cutting a wrench in half. Others were welded up compositions of a couple of tools and scrp metal. I enjoy looking at the solutions you guys come up with as well. I have an 11/16" socket that's beat to peices on one end from using to drive out universal joint
needle cups. Simple, fairly cheap and saved a trip to town.
