Hopefully my post will be successful. Still new to the forum so trying to figure out how it works!

Anyways here's my ride! Or what it used to look like. I have everything taken apart again due to the plug leak leaking oil EVERYWHERE on the bike after a few rides. Will be finishing up this weekend so hopefully I can get riding again!

Dirty Kid,

Nice ride.

What kind of license plate mount did you use?

Hi to everyone I'm new to riding and here's my new to me 2008 S40 near Winnipeg MB, Canada, 4551 kilo's on the odom as I brought it home Sat May 6th 2017. Needs a wash but looks pretty clean to me. Someone suggested I give it a name so...."Sash" it is and mine's Crockett.

Here is my old bike. Used to ride it to work until I got it out of the barn and on the way to the drive I almost tipped when my leg gave out. Since then I sold it, and walk with two canes.
Now I drive my son's MX-5. manual- 6 speed. Some of the same thrill shifting gears. Hardtop convertible. Bit tricky getting in and out!

I thought the fun of driving a vehicle was gone but then I inherited my son's 2015 MX-5 hardtop/convertible. (He's recovering from a back injuy and is driving our elantra.)
6 speed manual - 6 gear changes to get it to 55. Plenty of power and nimble on the road. Loves corners! Almost makes up for the bike!

VERY COOL!!!! Looks like a cross-breed with a speedway bike!
Your race picture looks like you have used-up any ground clearance you had, ever drag or hit the shifter?
What is the old guy behind you riding? Looks like a Harley trike???

Here's my 2002 Savage.
No mods except for a power port for the gps and the saddle bags.  Have to get some bag supports to get the bags under the rear seat.
5150 original miles when I bought her in May '17.

I've since removed the 'LS 650' labels.
More pics later.

I've got an 02, too. I had an 05. I like the 02better. The bars are more comfortable and the seat is a lot more comfortable. The windshield makes it a lot better at highway speeds.
And the Kawasaki front pulley calms it down at those speeds.
The cam chain is going to be needing attention in seven or eight thousand miles and it's valve adjustment time.
Rotella T 15/40 is a really popular oil around here.

What's the thing on your exhaust?
Ohhh, raising the front of the seat makes it easier on the butt.
