I was going to say I don't think it is going to be very fast. But if the hill is steep enough and you start at the top ...

I'll have to get someone to get a shot of me on the thing, but here's my '01.
This is what it looked like when I got it:

After a mishap while transporting on a trailer and needing to do some engine work, it now looks like this:

My first time doing any of this stuff - I'm pleasantly surprised by the results.  Grin

Here is a picture of Jet, my 1998 savage...We are pretty good friends as of the last year or so. I am a first time rider and Jet has not given me much fuss and is easy to work with if something does need doing.

Cool

I still do not have a decent photo of me on the bike. Maybe ill come back and post it when I do.

I picked up this old 04 LS650 Savage on a messed up salvage title about a month ago.  Got it to pass muster for inspection and filed all my rebuild and bonding paperwork so I have a legal title and plates now.  It apparently operated for several years on a paper dealer tag and a salvage title passed around without signatures.

It runs pretty good and was not a bad deal for only $700.  Have lots of small things to tinker with and it won't go into 5th, so will probably keep it to local rides for now and break it down this winter.  That will give me time to fix some small things first and it really needs a sissy bar to keep the rug rats from sliding off.

I started calling it Duct Tape as a joke but my kids have picked up on the name so I guess now it is permanent.

Hey guys,
New to the forum, new to the S40. Got started riding about 20 years ago on a little Honda Nighthawk 250, then about a decade ago, I got some experience with a couple of Harley Fatboys. Haven't ridden on anything bigger than a bicycle for the past 8 years and I've only had my Baby Boulevard for about a week but so far... I'm really enjoying it.   Grin

Saw this 2012 S40 at a dealership in Sanford, NC with only 1,000 miles on it and once I did a 10 minute test drive, I knew I had to have it. Comfortable, loud, powerful (enough for me) and so darned gorgeous to look at. Anyway, see y'all around the board. Thanks for letting me show off a little.

2012 S40 Boulevard (White and Silver) - small changes so far like windshield, sissy bar, saddlebags... but mostly stock.

Hello Everybody,
Picked this '05 off of Craigslist a few months back.  Never toured on a big single so gave it a shot.  Lived on it for six days and 2500 miles.  It ran perfect, was reasonably comfortable, and got around 55 MPG.  I was really impressed with this bike.

Hello everyone.  I'm Telly from New York, I'm starting my RYCA Motors CS1 Cafe Racer project using a 2006 S40 with 11,000 miles as a doner bike.
