I finally went out and put mine on, while I was doing some other work on the bike.  It is possible to do it without leaning it against something or having another person helping ya but it's kinda tricky :p.  Man what a differance these make in comfort along with a Corbin seat.  Only 2 things I don't really like about them,  The flex induced with the shifter rod extension and lack of rear brake pedal height adjustment with the extension. Other then those 2 minor things, these controls are wonderful.  Great job Routy.

Unless yours are different than mine you can adjust the brake pedal height just like stock.

I'll give it another go once I'm done with the electrical changes I'm doing atm.  I can easily get the pedal to lower, just couldn't seem to get it to raise up much at all.  I'll get it figured out Smiley

As the stock brake pedal moved forward, the angle of the linkage changes, which does limit the upward adjustment. But if you keep the rear brake adjuster just barely off the drag point, it works ok for most.

As for flex in the shifter, there should absolutely be NONE.
The only thing I can guess, is if you fee any flex, you have a slight bend in
the original link somewhere. If that is the case, it will break in the very near future. I have had feedback in this happening only twice in over 100 out there.

that may well be my issue on the shifter.

You are correct for adjusting the height back to original.....or even higher, but the difference is in the more travel that is required....because of the angle change, therefore while actually braking, the pedal may be a bit lower than it was before. But there has been next to no complaint's on that.

I have very little call for these during the riding season.
So it will be at least Nov-Dec,.....
My usual date for having stock ready to ship is March 1, 2013 for sure.
