I think it will be an improvement. Their quality will be right up there with the Enfield.

I'm not a huge Harley fan but its a sad day in American history. More American jobs being outsourced overseas, its depressing.

If the Harley workers want their jobs they need to take a cut in pay,If Harley goes to India for some of the work it want be long before they will keep getting more of their work.Just like China

Actually, the move is a good move for both Harley Davidson and their workers.

The plan is to manufacture all the parts and components in Milwaukee, crate them and ship them to India for final assembly.

That way, the "Indians" would not have to face a 60% markup on the sticker price because of import taxes.

So it's a win-win situation, quite possibly an increase in productivity because now it'll be easier to sell in an emerging market.
