considering a float valve assy is $44  Shocked Shocked Shocked
$19+shipping and get all the gaskets you'll need and an extra jet.
your old ones will just need cleaning.

is a steal.

K&L is the same brand as the petcock repair kit I bought and it's good quality.

Might the jets be a different size ie: smaller than the 86?

Jets around here really shouldn't be an issue.

You can buy jets from Lancer, any size.

You can likely post a post and find somebody that isn't using that size any more.

Most long term bike mechanics have a pool of pulled jets you can negotiate with them to purchase used.

Some Hurley and Suzuki and Honda dealerships actually consider jets an "exchange item" since they are all clearly marked (and almost all mikuni jets are of the same numerical family anyway)  -- you give them a good jet in good undamaged shape,  they exchange you the one you want for a nominal buck or two for the service.

It costs them nothing and provides them with a smidgen of user goodwill come time for the next bike purchase.
