Unless you buy some special trees or shoe horn one from a big twin....Sportsters come with Naroow Glide front ends. The goofy '48' comes with a Mid Glide. Wide Glides are Big Twin items only. And they ride like shyte and look stupid with a skinny tire and are heavy to turn with a fat tire. FRONT END ASSEMBLY  w/ Smooth Lower Legs   These new front end assemblies feature our Chrome Horse chrome plated triple trees and complete Softail style fork sliders with your choice of either smooth or ball milled style chrome plated billet lower legs. Each assembly comes completely assembled to include chrome plated stem nut and axle.

Special features include:
- Chrome plated billet triple trees and lower legs.
- 1984 & later FXST style tube assemblies.
- Convertible style legs for both single or dual disc brakes.
- Flush mount style axle and hardware.
- Billet block off plates hiding damper screw holes.

Note: Fork tubes are 1984 and later Softail style, stock length (24.5"). Brake application is 1984 thru 1999 single or dual disc caliper style.
