OK, maybe I missed this topic already but the MSRP has been announced at $5,099.  No changes except the color schemes; I really like the Metallic Fox Orange/Glass Sparkle Black.  Our bike should be in the hall of fame for longest running production design ever!

Pretty sure that goes to the Royal Enfield Bullet. Until a year or so ago it's engine design was essentially unchanged since 1955.

I really like the orange/black '11 S40 ... but they should've kept the blacked-out jug too ... the "natural" colored engine is sooooo "yesterday"! LOL!!

Here in Canada, the LS650 has been available every year since it's debut in 1986 ... I believe there was a brief hiatus of U.S. sales for a few years in the 90's wasn't there? Anyhoo, 2011 is the 25th Anniversary of our beloved LS!! Cool

Yeah, forgot about the Enfield after the Brits sold all their worn out tooling and dies to the Indians.  Actually, the title might belong to the Russian URAL, a BMW copy that was available with sidecar (minus the machine gun) here in the states in the 90's.  No change for fifty years and probably the same old tooling too.  No wonder reliability wasn't a strong suit.

Yea, nice looking paint scheme. If I was doin the pickin , I think Id go back to some of the old Schwinn paint schemes of the 50's & 60's. Soft green & a cream highlight, stuff like that.

Now all you need is some 2008 HD Anniversary badges to go with that paint scheme, that's screw with peoples heads big time!  Cheesy

Yup, just looked at the close-ups of the orange/black '11 LS and feel even more strongly that the jug shoulda been blacked-out as it was in recent years ...

At just over 5 grand it's out of my price range. It still has the 2.8-gallon tank. Every year I wonder if it is the last because of the restrictions on vehicles theses days. Got to love the simplicity in the design.
