CAST IS OFF....Dr, removed it today.. HOORAYYYY... I am back into the brace with the thumb splint. I have to wear this for at least 5 weeks. However it is removeable. Dr said it can be removed for showers only..
I am exhillerated to be out of the cast.
This has been a long process yet at next Dr. visit he is hoping to release me for good!!!!
Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers.. I am getting closer to being back on 2 wheels... Wink

Great news Kim,does this mean you can shower alone now,without that pesky husband ? not doing it right.
How long before riding now. I bet you are looking forward to that day.
I am doing a few things that you mentioned to help my hand , I will try anything short of dipping it in boiling water.

I was and still am sooo excited to be free of the cast. As for an adventure in a boat? well no, my next adventure will be with 4 wheels at least for the next few weeks.
