It's been a while since I've posted on here.  I keep up with all of your posts though.

My son needs a new Savage gas tank.  His became dented beyond repair when an off-duty copy decided to back into with his Yukon!!!  It fell over onto a cement container.  Apparently, the shop said that it's beyond repair.

My son is looking for a new tank but can't find one.  So I have three questions for the gurus on this site.....  1) can a S40 tank fit a '98 Savage?  2) is there another tank from a different bike that you have found works fine with the savage without any tinkering?  3) where can he find another savage tank that CAN be repaired by the shop?
