Here's my setup now, I have a screamin eagle straight through muffler, cone air filter, stage 3 pilot and jet needle but in order to totally get rid of backfiring my richness screw is only open one turn. I mean the screw is almost all the way screwed in but one turn. Is that normal?

If you're at 3 turns or more you need a richer pilot jet. Seems liek you got it pretty spot on.

I'll refine the tweaking, will be carrying that flathead screwdriver with me for a little while
