Engraving (?)
08/19/10 at 15:07:18

What do you think of engraving the header covers?
This was my first attempt at engraving anything.
Actually it was more like skrimshaw. I used a little micro jack hammer that was designed for removing very small fossles from the rock matrix in which they were found. I am not sure if I will put them back on, so I had little to lose. If it works this well on chrome it ought to be a snap cutting aluminium.
By the way the headers don't have enough iron to hold my kitchen magnet, so I don't think rust will be a problem.

I took the percent sign off the end of your link and I can see it now.  Huh  How long did it take you to do that?  Looks time consuming, but I like it!

I like it, would also be cool with black rubbed into the back ground to make it stand out a little bit more. I would have put 652 myself but again mad props!
