I've had my plate start to crack across the top. Put a licence plate frame on it and stuck a piece of aluminium on it's backside with double sided tape. No problems since then. The screws that hold the side panels on loosen up every 1000 miles or so. That locktight tape would do wonders for them.

first thing i lost was an exhaust bracket bolt. most recently, my ignition switch fell off! the dam thing is only held on with one screw  Undecided funny thing is, it didn't feel loose when i put the key in, rode 20 min, went to reach for the key and it wasn't there! was dragging on the belt for who knows how many miles and it wore through the electrical insulation.
I also think the vibrations helped crack my license plate more. i kept walking into it in the stock position; now i have it side mounted with a frame around it. only thing it shakes off now is the .45 shells i have stuck on over the bolt heads  Grin

Got it at Applied. (http://applied.findlocation.com/)  Or you can order it from the link in the post with the picture.  Don't know a thing about them, I think he gets HVAC stuff from them, but I'm sure anyone could buy that stuff.  I would think that Lowe's and the like will sell it eventually, if they don't already (although I didn't find it on their website)
