Especially 1-2 and 2-3 and 3-2. 2-1 is actually fairly smooth all the time, but 1-2 sticks often and I have to try a 2nd time. It goes to neutral first, and then I have to take off the foot and then try again and it goes into 2nd. I also noticed the lower the rpm he easier it goes into 2nd. Rev it to more that 3,000 in 1st and it will give me troubleI. But only when hot. I used Mobil1 20W-50 Full Synthetic V-Twin and it was worse. So I went back to Lucas 20W-50 Full Synthetic V-Twin. Summers in Oklahoma are very hot. I tried Mobil1 10w-40 Motorcycle oil in summer and the valvetrain is thrashing too much for my taste, especially when hot. Also the shift quality suffers more with the thinner oil. With Lucas 20W-50 it runs quiet and shifts smoother. The valves are set correctly. Should I try some other Oil?
If Lucas is better than Mobil-1 try Klotz the next time.
