FYI, just turned 6000 on my stock IRC. It was a little cupped when I got it (2900 miles), but once I aired it up good, it seemed to have leveled out some. The tread is just worn, and I noticed a little cut that made me nervous, so I wanted a new one. Will see what the man says when I take it in.

To those running this tire, are you running it tubed or tubeless??

I ran a brand new set of the Dunlops for 1 summer (about 12000 miles) they track poorly on grooved pavement, they don't feel confident in the corners and they were scarey in the rain..... I've since changed to the Mezzeler Me880 and love them..... the straight line stability is great, very sure footed in the corners especially fast with high lean angle and they have excellent grip in the rain........... I probably ride harder and faster than most people so I'm sure for many riders the Dunlops are good enough...... but not on my bike

I had the same dunlop on my bike for 8,000 Miles... Did the Dragon and the Cherohola on it and had no problems, I ride about 300 days a year. In all kinds of weather and never had a problem with it. where are you getting your INFO?

Ive got about 10k miles on a set of Bridgestone Spitfires.
front is still good, rear is starting to thin out, but will pass inspection and will finish out this year with them.
They are tubeless type, I may try the sealant trick to eliminate the tube.
sposed to be dual compound, I can only compare them to the stockers (much better).

I have the 140/90 15 on mine rear and it fits fine. Not even close to rubbing.

I'll be a little nervous until the "newness" wears off. But so far, so good! Oh, we looked at the old IRC. It had been cut and patched. I don't guess that's too un-common, but I'm sure glad to have a nice new one.
