One special thing...

If you had to choose one thing you liked best about the Savage, what would it be?
I have nothing to compare it to as it's my first time riding and my first bike.. but I'm 5'1" at 110 lbs and I can't believe how perfect in size it is for me. Until I saw it, I thought I'd never find a bike bigger than a 250 that would work for me.

Yeah its great for smaller riders, not as good for bigger ones. But it is also a classically styled cruiser that is very light weight and has a low center of gravity making it effortless to ride and handles good in the twisties.  It's also got good low end torque which makes for smooth and easy throttle response without jerkiness.  Great lightweight cruiser loads of fun.

Very cheap and easy to modify to something that's eye catching, and a blast to ride.

"Everything" it's the closest thing to a perfect, one up, street bike as I have every seen much less owned. And I'm 5" 9" and 210. It's a purest bike. Is that one thing I hope so.

I have been a licensed motorcycle rider for over 50 years.  I have owned both old and new Triumphs, Harleys from Sprotster to Dresser, BMW's from K bikes to RTs, Guzzis, and oh so many more.  Right now, I am retired, and have both the money to buy any bike I want, and the time to ride it.  By choice, I have a Savage.  I guess that says it all, at least as far as I am concerned.

Suzuki did a perfect balancing act on this bike and as such it makes a good all around bike with the potential to become anything with limited investment in comparison to other manufcaturers machines.

Lightweight
Powerful enough for the experienced, weak enough for beginners
Affordable in any way you choose to frame the word
Reliable
Easily maintainable
Fuel efficient
Stylish in stock form, infinitly mod-able.

I'm tall but love the size and the look. I prefer the old school style. Also just the build quality, color, everything!

And I agree, the key below the seat is sick.
