Rear turn signal light bulb
07/18/10 at 18:34:08

What bulb replaces the turn signal bulb on rear?

I am using 12v 2057 Sylvania long life dual filament bulb and they keeps burning out after about a week.

Thanks.

Thanks.  Which filament should light up for running light?  the tall post with thin wires or short post with think wires?  I am thinking maybe I have the wires reversed.

The fronts are dual filament,... rears are single...
no running lights in the rear... illegal in most states to have any running lights in the rear other than red ones...

It looks like from the manual that turn signal is 21W and running light is 5W.  Which means if I run dual filament, I can use 7528 bulb which is 12.8v 21/5 watt.

I think I may have solved my issue, going over it with my buddy who is an electrician.  I have my wires reversed so running light watt is going through the turn signal filament and turn signal watt is going through the running light filament.  I will have to switch and see if it blows up.
