Routy,  I did indeed fill that battery.  I was a little surprised myself when they brought it out from the back of there warehouse and asked if I wanted to fill it or if they should do it for me.

Well I was up for doing as much myself....not that this was difficult...suppose it could have been if you didn't line up the holes properly.

so here's a +1 for learning something new Cheesy

The point I was getting at,....
without going back and checking, the battery you quoted was an AGM battery, which cannot be filled w/ anything except when they are filled and sealed at the factory.
If you did fill it, it had to be a regular lead acid battery, and not an AGM.

On edit, after checking your link, I may stand corrected. This will be the first AGM battery I've know of to be filled by the consumer. If you did indeed "seal" it after filling, then I stand corrected,....and learned something new.

If that is the battery you got, I'd bet you had a little trouble filling it ? Undecided

Easy enough to fill it. It came with the acid needed.
Just flip over acid container, line it up with holes, punch it down into the holes, let it drain into the battery. Put cover seal on it.

Charge and install.

Simply really.

If you buy an AGM from Wal-Mart,it comes with the acid pack and you fill it yourself,as well.

positive terminal rubber cover on big crang?

The OEM rubber cover for the positive terminal won't cover the big crank's mass of metal.  What did folks do to completely cover the positive terminal on the battery?

Our WM here doesn't carry any AGM, auto or motorcycle. None of their motorcycle batteries are sealed or even maintenence free.

Curious,
does your headlite and running lite all burn w/ the key on?
If so, 45 minutes..... has to be a very good battery.
