I just ordered a set from here:

http://myworld.ebay.com/atv_brakes_n_more/

They were cheap enough, shipping was free and I thought fast enough. I have not put them on yet, other fish to fry, but they look exaclty like brake pads. Wink

Bubba ordered a set from there:

http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1277840951/8#8

I know nothing else.  That's my story and I am sticking to it.

The Kevlar no names from ebay (so far) are wearing significantly better than EBC reds. The EBCs were usually pretty near shot by this point in the season. The Kevlars look like they'll carry me through this season and a fair bit of the next one.

and the kevlars feel like stock brakes in braking power and grip force.
whereas the EBC's feel soft and require more grip to stop.

Emgo 106X equivalent. The thinnest version, there are 3 pad thicknesses of 106s. I think they ran me $14 plus tax. Plain old garden variety tan or gray friction material. I can sometimes score an asbestos set of rears...

I think mine were kevlar, but they are outside and I am not.  I searched for them on the ebay store and could not find any front pads for the savage.

Hmmmm

About how many miles should front brake pads last?  I'm at about 6000, I'm pretty sure they are original.
