Tiefighterpilot Senior Member Offline Daily Rider Posts: 346 San Francisco	rear suspension bolt (bottom) spinning 07/06/10 at 20:11:01 I was just tightening the bolts... and right rear bottom bolt just kept spinning.... yes I was holding the other end so it should have tightened. I guess it is stripped. Anyone else have issues with savage nuts and bolts? Should I replace this? or is this the way it is on the suspension bolt.

Even did it expedited. Sheesh.... I hate not having a bike to ride. Almost want to get a spare parts bike.

Could be worse... Intruders thread the front axle into the lower fork leg, without anti-seize...

There is a reason for the old saying about Jap bikes: Ends in A may be okay, ends in I don't bother to try...

I'd still rather play with the Savage than my 63 Honda though. Least I can get most Savage parts.

I'm replacing my bolts as they break with hardened stainless steel. At least nothing critical has broken, yet.
