We rented a bike (Yes, it was a Harley, shush) and took a scenic day trip and had a blast.  The scenic pics were taken from the back of a moving bike, cant believe they came out that clear. Anyway, here ya go.

When I was in Vegas, 35 years ago, breakfast was available almost everywhere, 24 hours a day & for cheap. Looks like the place is still a desert.

I love Vegas, was there once in 96' then didn't go back until 04' but been there 5 times since 04'  Shocked

Breakfast is not as cheap, but the entertainment shows have become so much more elaborate. I hope you were able to catch one of the Cirque shows, I have seen many of them and loved them all.  Grin

I was just 20, in the Air Force, there temporary duty ti be in a school on an instrument landing system, since they had a plane explode just above the runway & the ILS wasnt being used, because the runway was a mess. All I managed to accomplish was get tossed out of every casino in Vegas for being under age, some of them 2 or 3 times. I did catch a ride w/ a guy & wqe went to the dam at night. That place looks cool.

I love Vegas!  My best friend lives out there, so getting to see her is a big plus!  And no Bill, we didnt bring home extra money.  Imagine that, lol.  Actually we dont gamble that much, I play a little on the slots but thats about it.  Just walking around looking at those massive casinos is entertainment.  Not to mention the constant freak parade.  The day we spent on the bike was very fun, once we got out of Vegas.  Those peeps drive like maniacs!  Undecided

We have been to Hoover dam before, it is an awsome sight.  Were gonna go this time too, while we had the bike.  But road construction had traffic tied up big time, bumper to bumper-stop & go crap for miles.  Which on a bike (had a Roadking)isnt too much fun.  Plus I was afraid that all that barely moving crap would overheat the engine.  So we turned around and headed off another route.  Oh well, maybe next time.... Wink
