I am just about done with my Savage Bobber, and I would like some of your opinions. Thanks http://s783.photobucket.com/albums/yy112/b_p_stewart/

Good, basic Bobber, clean, 13" springer for long rides, forward controls for feet, looks comfortable.  Which bars?  You are 6' plus/minus 2 inches?

Looking good bro! Nice and clean. Tell us a little about it...

I'm really diggin the headlight visor, where'd you find it? I'd toss the passenger pegs at the neighbor's dog...

Hope you don't mind me posting these for you, makes it easier for the masses. Beware of the haters!

Very nice!  The chrome trim on the tank and fender makes it unique.  Closest muffler I've seen to my own.

good job! seat looks nice! what kind of paint is that? looks like it'll be both rough and hard to clean.

Seeing as how the back end is gone, i'd say it is a safe bet you can lose those passenger pegs like earlytimz mentioned.

is that license plate bracket mounted just by the shock bolt?

and i hate chrome, but that trim you added looks awesome!

Not bad. Bedliner spray huh? You been reading The Horse?

Looks like the standard Emgo 5.25" headlight visor. Even Kuryakyn just restickers Emgo chrome bits.

Ah yes, the old standard bugshield/door edging. Easiest way to clean up JapanInc fuel tank seams. Used to run that on mine before my stepson totalled out the stock tank and rear fender. Epoxy the edges where they meet, it tends to curl, dirt gets in, trim pops off.

Deep six the rear pegs. If you are careful, you can wedge a thick flathead screwdriver in the hole to jam up the nut, peg unscrews, knock the nut out with a pencil. Don't know about you, but, I hate pulling the wheel. Mine is jacked up via 800 Intruder rear shocks so the tray at the front of the swingarm makes a good floor jack pad...

Looks good. Stock is rather boring, isn't it?

I like it.  Where's the seat from?  I really like the open wheel look. Too bad it wasn't a little longer though. Just Kidden. It looks great.

Clean and nice. You stole my wind with the silver trim around the tank and front fender. That's my plan too!

You guys are turning me into a bobber fan!   We have seen some beauties lately.  I love this one too.  Love the seat, and really dig the license mount.  Even like the paint!  I hope those signals are bright, cuz they aren't very big.  Mirrors look neat too, although there isn't a great pic of them.  I would ride it.   Wink

i dig it. love the exhaust and seat, and i'm a fan of the paint job. that bars-seat-forward controls combo looks pretty comfy.

i agree you could improve the look a little by ditching the rear pegs and belt guard. pegs come off real easy if you deflate the rear tire.

also, i like the license plate mount, but i know mine almost vibrated off after a high speed run. moved it to the axle bolt and haven't had an issue. more vibration in the shock towers? i dunno. just something to watch for.
