Bike "coughing" in 1st/2nd Gear??
06/19/10 at 04:43:19

After sufficiently warming up my bike when I first get out on the road, the bike feels like it is almost coughing when in 1st gear and 2nd gear - feel like it is going to stall or something. The problem seems to go away after 10-15 mins of riding....any suggestions/adjustments I could make?

Sounds as if it could be running a little lean.

This should be a question on the RSD forum,...you'd probably get more replies.
But this sounds like what mine was doing only not quite as bad as you describe. You can verify its running lean if it runs better w/ the choke 1 notch out. If so, a "white spacer mod" will definitely fix or improve the problem.
