electrical problem

tore bike down, removed wiring harness, rebuilt bike, now working on putting it back together.  main fuse blows when I turn on ignition.


what can i look for?
does the frame have a common ground?
does the voltage regulator need to be grounded?

yes  Shocked
no, some have stuffed it in the air box/

Most likely you've pinched a wire some place, under the tank, around the airbox, or headlight.
or cross wired something.
