25 miles west of San Francisco, north slope of Mt Diablo.  2 lanes down to 1 lane,  85 degrees, 35 cows, 14 horses, 2 wild turkeys, 3 one lane bridges, 20 miles round trip, 118 turns, the best bike in the world under 50mph, 500 s.e. grins.  I think summer is finally here.  -stratman

let's hear you been ridin.

You ever ride Hwy 94 out of San Diego, V? When i was out there back in 07 i drove it every day for 3 months in a truck but never on a bike. There seemed to be alot of bikes riding it on the weekends. I'd love to get back and ride it. One of my closest friends for my Marine days live in Canoga Park. Hadn't talked to him in years til last month. keeps hounding me to get back out there. Be a hella road trip from Chicago land though  Grin

Evening rides west to the mountains abuot 45 minutes one way. Good 2 lane with some decent hills and turns. Just have to keep an eye out for wildlife and cattle. Not really road trips but pleasing getaways to clear the brain fog.

Not a lot of riding this spring yet, it's just now starting to dry out enough to make it pleasant.  Took a jaunt up SR14 east of Washougal and Camas a few weeks ago, trying out the twisties with a passenger.  It was a blast, even if it did get a little damp on the way back! Grin
