Header Wrap Question (Read 83 times)

I am concerned about the muffler joint misaligning and it has good seal now, but prob will not if I remove the header pipe/muffler from bike to wrap.

Horatio Hawkshaw Ex Member	Re: Header Wrap Question Reply #1 - 06/02/10 at 05:12:26 It can be done with the pipe still on the bike, but it's a lot quicker and a lot easier to get a good, tight, consistent wrap with the header off. And you won't use as many epithets

That way you wouldn't interrupt the muffler to head-pipe connection... As H H said, I'm sure it can be done but better to take it off...
