Has anyone have this rotor? Looks like an upgrade from the factory rotor.

with the holes you'll get a little better braking and the dust will be cleaned out for less squealing with the stock pads.  But you'll also get more pad wear.

You can get pads that will never wear out, I spose, but IF you do, theyll eat your rotor. My choice is to replace pads.

EBC supposedly makes ceramic pads that will fit the savage. They're supposedly available at bikebandit. Every time i try to order them it puts them on backorder automatically and offers me the EBC organic pads, which dont last long enough IMO. I only get between 3-4k mi on them but I do a lot of in town stop/go and Im known to accel and brake more vigorously than is actually needed. There are cheap kevlar pads available for cheap on ebay.
