need help finding jet please.... (Read 88 times)

Posts: 3	need help finding jet please.... 05/27/10 at 19:16:40 does anyone know where i can find jets that are bigger than the 230 main jet that i have? i still seem to be running too lean. i know that the stock main is 145 and i got a jet kit and the biggest one is a 230. does anybody make bigger than that? i thank u for all your help.

Dynojet kits are sized differently. If you're got a freer flowing muffler and kn filter you'd be looking from 152.5-160 or so for a main jet but where on the throttle do you seem to be lean? low end, mid range?

My guess would be a 152.5 or 155. Try the smaller one first & if you get popping (lean) above 1/4 throttle, go with the 155.
Get a hold of Lancer... He will send you a small variety that covers the spectrum. Cheap too! Don't forget to follow the procedures in the forum to set your idle mixture & needle spacing.
