Run for the Wall

A friend is on the Run For The Wall.  Veterans ride across country, ending up at the Vietnam Memorial in D.C.  Dedicated to POW/MIA/KIA.  Watch for it on the news this weekend.

If anyone would ever like to do it, here's their website. http://www.rftw.org/

Never Forget!!

The "mini wall" made it's way thru here last year on tour. Mason and I went and paid our respect. My Brother (a disabled vet & motorcycle rider) actually escorted the mini wall when it came to his town in NC.

That's really neat!  Unfortunately, that'd be a super long ride for me, but maybe someday...

Hey John, it would be even longer ride for me. I am up by Seattle. We could try and get a few savage riders or others, ride from one Wa to another... varrrooommmm.... Could meet up with others along the way..

That would make a hell of a Memorial Ride... Smiley

Leaves from Downtown HD in Renton, right off Hwy 167 and I-405. Just check Quick Throttle Magazine for details next year (which publishes regionally for those in more civilized parts of the country). You can get it at ANY motorcycle shop in the country. And a handful in Cannabinoidia (BC) and Canuckistan.

Last year the DC segment was led by a Medal of Honor recipient on an HD.
