5/8" square aluminum stock bent in the vise with dolly and heat.  Then add file+sand paper+steel wool+SOS and assemble.

Yup.. Nice bar. I want a taller bar for my 2000. so I might have to
look into trying to become a better craftsman.

But more importantly . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I want the white buggy in the garage. Isn't that just the perfect
match to a Savage in a driveway?

No access to the proper tools so here's my fix. 3/4" metal furniture plugs from Ace hardware.
