I used pin stripe to make my lines to cut the tabs off. I then used a grider with a cutting wheel.
The bracket was hand/vise bent using steel stock from Lowe's. Like wise for the brackets to attach, they are made of aluminum stock from lowes.
Mounting envoled several measurments. I places several tubes on the tire to keep the fender off the tire to the desired hight and then mark the postion for the holes with the bracket mounted. The holes on the bottom where the origional fender mounted was tricky, I had to make several small holes until I was close. I used a step bit for the drilling and made the bottom ones slightly larger to account for the bend of the fender. The only need to be tightened enough to hold it in place.
This is a rigid setup.
