I would have made it flat or humped rather than sunk... if not for rain, for ease of cleaning... ... but, it's very intentionally sunken, so that seems to have been a calculated trade-off for the specific look...

I'm contemplating a similar thing. Or less... This would be in europe someplace. He has OFF-PARK-ON switch for lights, and the can in background reads "ketten spray". Castrol chain spray, sold in EU.

I'm with you on that.

I ride because I like to, not because I have to. I have only been riding about 6 months, and I have ended up riding in the rain twice, both times when it started raining while I was out. The second (and last!!) time, I laid Doc down and slid about 35-40 feet. No More!!

It looks so small might be pretty hard to read when speeding down the highway.. It looks real easy to make looks like a piece of sheet metal cut out with holes drilled in it.
