But they'll also fit an 05-09 S40. One difference I hadn't noticed before is that the parts fiche shows shims with the brake pads beginning in '05. The older bikes don't have them. But all the other part numbers that I checked in the caliper assembly matched.

Posts: 4	Re: brake pads Reply #4 - 05/18/10 at 10:59:39 i replaced my pads a few weeks ago, starters just look at the pads while they are on the bike you can get a really good idea of what they look like . i got my pads off ebay and they fit well
