...because I haven't been riding for a few days. Went out to go get an oil filter to change my oil and found it acting up. Turned around and came home, checked the oil and it appears there is gas in my oil so I apparently have a bad float in the carb.

Will be taking care of it my next days off however so the FireLizard will be down for a few days. Oh well, nothing I can't handle. Been meaning to tear it down to fix some oil leaks anyway.

Reply #2 - 06/02/10 at 11:45:53 FireLizard needs new cam chain and tensioner. Took the cover off the inspect and found it seperated. This is the second one in less than twenty thousand miles. Also so lost internet connection and am on Library comp at the moment. So FireLizard will be down longer than I thought while I save up the money for the parts.

Reply #11 - 06/23/10 at 14:15:18 FireLizard is back up and running. I had a friend fix me up a Verslagen tensioner. She runs pretty good again now. Also cut me out some new gaskets and did some slight modifications on my road king tank. Just in time too because the price of gas just went up again.
