The frame geometry isnt anything Id want a hot rod built on. IMO, I dont think the savage needs to go real fast.

If you take the Savage down to the frame, you may change your mind. While it is good for it's purpose, it is not the beefiest frame I have worked with.

Ill gladly put it in my frame. My motor is now my limiting factor.

Neither are the Meridian Triumph frames, I have one that has survived the last 16 years with 70+ hp, drag slick at the track, bolt on hardtail rear, over 40K miles of hard riding across 9 states.....the KTM engine won't put anymore force against that frame than that big single.
My 98 Sporty 1200C frame isn't stout by any means. I have 0 mods to it other than clearancing part of the back bone with a 16# sledge so rear rocker box of my 96" Sporty motor fits. So far the switch from 68hp to a best of 131hp hasn't done anything except break drive belts. Back to the chain!
