Save me your old worn out / torn up pistons

Request is for donated experimental parts -- save me your old worn out or torn up pistons (or the ones you are simply replacing as you bore your bike out hunting for extra ponies).
Subject is Dow Corning Molykote D-10 pad print anti-friction coating.
Intent is to develop a method to safely and securely put a low friction coating on the piston that will "grow" the piston back up to a usable diameter to rematch a worn re-honed bore.
Yes, I know you can pay to have this done. Cost you about $50 a piston after shipping and they only do fixed (low) amounts of build up.
If Dow comes through with my sample of D-10 material I can do it too, and I am not so limited as the commercial places as to how much I am willing to put back on to a piston or what sort of damage I will attempt to recover using the D-10 material.
Mild scoring might be recoverable .... (depends)
I need bodies to experiment upon ... send the rings with the pistons please as "slightly worn" rings can be re-expanded and outer edge coated as well making the rebuilt pistons and rings "quick seating" and usable again.
This is the exact same coating that is put on commercial pistons.
Same stuff might find its way into a head cam journal or two if I can figure out a way to cure it in place without taking the head completely apart.

Old Feller you're killing me, Got a head, rocker arms, that could use your last two experiments and I haven't even gotten to the piston. Since it's an 87 it probably needs work too. 'Course you have to catch me when I have no access to my bike. Might have to have the wife ship it out to me
I'll be watching to see how your projects work out, when i get back to Virginia I'll definitly be knocking on your door of wisdom.

'87 Savage, Got more invested in beer and paint then I paid for the bike. Figure that surely makes it mine!

Hey Bill, if Klotz is really "zero wear oil" as you say it is, how do rings ever seat? Or do you have to use something else to allow a certain amount of wear before you start using Klotz?

Verslagen, just don't throw it away. How badly burnt was it? Were the rings seized in the grooves and the upper surface above the top ring erroded away?

Broke it in on the oil that came in it.

Sure, I saw it coming, Dasch. It was more a matter of curiosity about the approach than the answer. Bill is a "True Believer" in the effectiveness of Seafoam, Klotz Racing oil, and the uselessness of battery tenders. He also believes the MSF - and presumably any sort of actual driving school - is dangerous and should be banned. Some time back he also declared that countersteering doesn't work and shouldn't be taught. I am sure I omitted something, but I am equally sure he'll remind us of it before too long.

Hahaha, we can count on it. Bill is just messing with us anyways. And laughs hard when we take the bait.

Theres 5 ways to steer a motorcycle,I use 4 of them the one I don't use is counter steer,That is dangerous if you have to move one way in a hurry. If you look at the honda motorcycle web site you can find the 5 ways to steer a motorcycle.

...and the safest that I have seen is in the back of a truck...no countersteer neded!
Is it possible to turn a bike without at least "a little" countersteer?
