head tube make cringe though, needs reinforcement to my eye.
love the rear fender, mid controls and a center stand.
the muf works, but I'd prefer it low only cause the case looks like something missing. Wrappin' the pipe thru there would be mandatory for me, that's layin' right on the oil passage.
Hmmm, a 2" diameter oil reservoir or external spin on filter would fit where the pipe was.
Although I'm confident in my welding... When I'm burning 65mph- I can't say the thought hasn't crossed my mind... "What would happen if the darn neck tube broke off???"
I haven't experienced any "flex" in the design, but on future builds I intend to use a small gusset at the connection. Or maybe a cross-support further down the backbone and down tubes. This photo is similar to a design I'm working on. I really like the "clean" look!
