Actually... It was an old Kawasaki C2 rear fender I got from Ebay for $18.  I split it in half and welded a 2" strap down the middle.  The strap provided support and ended up being an acceptable look also!!!

You can find a lot of the old enduro-style chrome fenders on ebay for the $20 neighborhood!

Really nice   Cool
nice touch usin' the stock tank.
head tube make cringe though, needs reinforcement to my eye.
love the rear fender, mid controls and a center stand.
the muf works, but I'd prefer it low only cause the case looks like something missing.  Wrappin' the pipe thru there would be mandatory for me, that's layin' right on the oil passage.
Hmmm, a 2" diameter oil reservoir or external spin on filter would fit where the pipe was.

Although I'm confident in my welding...  When I'm burning 65mph- I can't say the thought hasn't crossed my mind... "What would happen if the darn neck tube broke off???"  Huh

I haven't experienced any "flex" in the design, but on future builds I intend to use a small gusset at the connection.  Or maybe a cross-support further down the backbone and down tubes.  This photo is similar to a design I'm working on.  I really like the "clean" look!

yummm, like those big tires.
But I'd have to ride one before I ever thought about buying one.
Some of the roads I take are too much for me even with the stock suspension.

Honestly not my personal style , but a great build!  It has great clean lines.  That is key to a sweet custom.  Keep up the good work!
