Had a little hand held vac pump, from walmart. Its supposed to be for sucking the air outta special baggies to save food, but the baggies didnt work well so I took it as a tool. By cutting , drilling & epoxying in a piece of tubing, I  have a hose hooked to it. I poked 2 holes in the lid of a mason jar & soldered 2 pieces of tubing into it, Now, , a hose from the jar to the bleed screw & one from the jar to the vac pump & I can bleed brakes w/o pumping anything.

Drilling really thin things to either screw into or solder to costs too much material. I use a sharp punch.

Its an O-ring on a piston in a plastic sleeve. Seems to be holding up well, Ive used it a few times.

its a small, handheld, like a bit smaller than a  2 D cell flashlight size vac pump, its on the shelf at walmart.. Cut the end off where its suposed to sit on the baggie & stick some 1/8th tubing in it. Run that tube to a lid on a mason jar, run another from the lid on to the bleeder. Makes a reservoir out of the mason jar so the fluid doesnt just go into the vac pump. Ezee   peezee..
