You do quick work!
Looks like it will be a overall great build, I'm really interested in seeing the red/black rims.

Can't wait to see those rims! Did you stick with the stock 15" on the rear or are you going with a 16"? Belt or chain conversion???
Good luck to ya buddy!!!

I'm also looking forward to seeing how the rims look. Wide white's for tires?
Because that'd looke awesome!
Can't wait to see how the rest of it turns out.

I stayed with the standard rims and tires for the time, trying to keep the build under 1000. always next year to keep the mods coming. For the being of time sticking with the belt drive ( but I do like the chain conversion that i have seen on the site).

Understand the $$ limitations. I think all of us have ran into that a time or 20.
Looking at the rims you already have done has me wishing I had done mine when I had the frame and fenders done. Can't wait to see the finished product on those wheels.
How time consuming to you think it will be getting all the spokes back in right. Never tried it myself, would even touch them on a bike as a kid. But I'd love to clean mine up, darn near impossible to get 23 years of crud off them while they are installed.

'87 Savage, Got more invested in beer and paint then I paid for the bike. Figure that surely makes it mine!

Nice, I pick up my rims from the Powder coater tomorrow. I went with ALL red though, thought it would mix it up a bit. I have Most everything else black so why not. Great job so far though!!!

this build is coming alone real well and looks like its gonna be a snazzy bike. i'm a little jealous
what kind of rear fender do you have there? it looks like a plastic trailer fender, maybe?

Groupus the rear fender was 2 metal trailer fenders split in half welded back together with 2 pcs of 3/8" bar bent to match the radius of the fender with a mounting plate to attach to the swing arm.
