I'm not sure if this link will work for you as it does for me.

Anyhow, I have my rear wheel off to take it in to have the tire changed, I was wondering how much wear these Shock Absorbers should have on them?

They are #4 in the pic on the website, black rubber. Mine have some wear and a little play when on the bike.

I searched and didn't see anything on this topic, I could have missed it. It cost around 40 bucks for all new ones so I was just seeing what is common wear, I have around 7800 miles on an 05. I'll see if I can grab a photo. Thanks in advance for any advise.

I( didnt like the way mine were fitting after about 15,000 miles, so I cut an old innertube up & shimmed it.
