Verslavy Install

Hi all, I reviewed the tech section for direction on this install but could not find what I needed.
I have the cover off and ready to swap the unit out but I want to be sure there isn't anything else i need to do or be aware of other then removing the clip and bolt and putting the new one in? Do I need to maintain the tension in some way?
All advice and tips are appreciated, I hate doing things over again lol

Slip a plastic wire tie onto the unit so that it holds the plunger in under pressure. After it is in place, use wire cutters to cut the wire tie.

Oh, and put a drop of locktite on the thread of the bolt.
BE VERY CAREFUL TO ONLY GET THE LOCKTITE ON THE THREAD, not on the bearing surface.

tension on the guides not required during change over.
becareful with the clip not to over extend it.
when you remove the bolt the plunger will shoot across the room so hold on to it.
I've never used lock tite as instructed, torque has been enough.
Although I inspect regularly.  but over 45k miles on 2 bikes hasn't loosened yet.  reminds me, time to look again.   Shocked
don't forget to pull the tab out of the bottom of the plunger before you put the cover back on to extend the plunger.   Cool

clip was tad bit of a pain till i reversed the tool duh lol

Broken bolt fortunately from the initial plunger check came out easy! had enough to grab with pliers.

New performance filter and battery ready for install.

Guess its time to contact tkat for the fork brace!

Safe riding everyone.
